Inception Group, the operator of the themed Mr Fogg’s and Bunga Bunga bars, is developing a new concept for the former Cinnamon Soho site.

The company has taken on the central London space following the Indian restaurant's closure this month after six years of trading.

Inception Group will run pop-up bar Casa Bonita in the site for six months from the end of June while working on longer-term plans for the location, which will be announced later this year.

Latin-inspired Casa Bonita will be a “relaxed and colourful” bar serving cocktails and bar snacks with regular live music.

It will back on to the Kingly Court food emporium, trading seven days a week from 2pm – 1am.

“We are thrilled to have been given this amazing opportunity to take on this prime Carnaby, Soho bar premises,” says Charlie Gilkes, founder of Inception Group.

“We'll be trading it as a fun Latin inspired pop-up until the end of the year before revealing our exciting longer-term plans with the site.”

Inception Group's London portfolio includes Chelsea bar Barts, 80’s-themed Maggie’s, 1940’s-inspired Cahoots and Bunga Bunga spin-off Bungatini.

It is planning to double the size of its Mr Fogg’s bar portfolio to six London locations this year.
