On Tuesday 25 September Borough Market will host the sixth iteration of charity food and drinks party Auction Against Hunger.

The annual event, which this year has been pushed back from an original planned date in July, will see a host of chefs, bars and street food traders create ‘the world’s greatest menu’, many dishes of which will only be available on the night.

The 2018 chef lineup will include James Lowe, Anna Hansen, Nieves Barragan Mohacho, and Adam Handling.

Operators and restaurants creating dishes at the event will include Yauatcha Patisserie, Smokestak, KS Ate Here, Luca, The Begging Bowl, Horn OK Please, Khanom Krok, Claw, Busaba.

A live auction will be hosted by Tom Best, Christie’s youngest ever auctioneer, with a range of food and drink experience lots available for guests to bid for, while Champagne Taittinger will host a wheel of fortune game where guests can win a glass, bottle or magnum.

All proceeds from the £60 tickets for the event go directly to Action Against Hunger.

Since its launch in 2012, the Auction Against Hunger has raised over six million pounds.
