Launching in a compact site on Northcote Road, the restaurant will take MEATliquor’s restaurant estate back up to twelve sites, since it closed its Bristol site last year.
“We open [MEATliquor] next month on Northcote Road next door to Franco Manca,” writes co-founder Scott Collins on an Instagram caption of a picture of the hoarded-up site.
“It’ll be small but perfectly formed. Which idiots open another restaurant in this climate (financial and weather?) Us. Shots!”
The restaurant will serve its signature burgers; chicken wings; and sides including deep fried pickles and hot sauce-topped hash browns.
The group operates three other south London sites in Croydon, Brixton and East Dulwich.
The group launched two delivery-only sites with Deliveroo Editions in Canary Wharf and Battersea, but is understood to have stopped working with the Editions arm of the company in November of last year.
MEATliquor began life as the Meatwagon burger van and now operates sites in central London; Hoxton; Covent Garden; Queensway; Brighton; East Dulwich; Leeds; Croydon; King’s Cross; Brixton; and Islington.
