Bibendum Wine launches apprenticeship scheme

Drinks supplier Bibendum Wine has launched a part-time apprenticeship scheme to help emerging industry talent.

Two spots are available on the six-month Wine Minds Apprenticeship, which will include WSET Level 2 or Level 3 training, an internship with a leading producer, masterclasses and trips to wineries across Europe.

Applications for 2019 are open to members of the company’s Wine Minds scheme, which launched in January this year.

“We hope that bar and restaurant owners and managers get behind the programme and encourage their talented staff to sign up to be in with a chance of being selected for the apprenticeship," says Elona Hesseling, Bibendum's head of brand communications.

Applications are open until Sunday 16 September and candidates can apply via the Bibendum website.

Successful applicants will be selected and notified later this year, with the apprenticeship to begin early 2019. To find out more, click here.

Bibendum Wines was bought by Magners cider owner C&C Group earlier this year after the collapse of its former parent company Conviviality.
