Slated to open in 2020, the five-star Londoner hotel will feature five “concept restaurants” and lounges, including a rooftop bar, across 15 storeys.
There’ll also be 350 rooms and suites, two Odeon Luxe cinemas, a ballroom for up to 1000 guests and an underground spa.
The group claims the hotel will feature London’s deepest hotel basement, with a restaurant below ground.
Edwardian Hotels London operates restaurant and bar brands including Monmouth Kitchen and Scoff & Banter.
It also owns The May Fair Hotel and 11 Radisson Blue Edwardian London hotels in the capital and Manchester.
“It has always been the vision of our chairman to develop a lifestyle hotel destination in a prime central London location,” says Rob Steul, creative director at Edwardian Hotels London and lead designer of The Londoner.
“The Londoner celebrates and captures the drama of its vibrant West End neighbourhood and I am confident that its striking contemporary design, sophisticated social spaces and its collection of distinctive restaurants and lounges will set it apart.”
