29 Power Station West and Mei Ume win best UK design at the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards
The awards are judged by a panel of influential design personalities including Chris Galvin of Galvin at Windows, Des Gunewardena of D&D, and Daniela Rinaldi from Harvey Nichols. The winners were chosen from over 900 entries from the UK and 70 other countries.
The Kings Cross ceremony, which was attended by over 600 people, saw Dubai restaurant Sean Connolly, designed by Alexander & Co; and Rosina, a bar in Las Vegas designed by Simone Deary Design Group named as the overall winners of the 2018 Awards.
In the UK, 29 Power Station West, designed by Box 9 Design, won Best UK Bar, and Mei Ume by AB Concept won the Best UK Restaurant Design award.
Restaurant and bar operators taking care of the food and drink at the event were Ichibuns, No. 29 Power Station West, Kettner's, Near & Far and Bear.
