London-based pan-Asian mini restaurant group Momo Canteen will open its third site, in Canary Wharf, next month.

The restaurant will open at Westferry Circus and will feature a new lunch menu exclusive to the site designed for the area’s large number of office workers alongside more regular dishes, such as laksa, Korean fried chicken, beef rending buns and Thai red curry.

The group also has restaurants in Barbican and Commercial Street in Shoreditch.

“This location is ideal for our new lunch concept as it gives us the chance to trial unique dishes such as fresh, protein-rich salads which will cater to a health-conscious workforce,” says company founder, Singaporean restaurateur Sidney Liu.

“As we are an Asian team, this is the cuisine which we love the most and are most familiar with, which means we don’t compromise on flavour and believe we offer excellent value for money.”

“Momo Canteen will benefit greatly from the strong lunch time trade in Westferry Circus,” says David Kornbluth from CDG Leisure, which brokered the deal on behalf of the previous occupier.

“Not only is it a great addition to the area’s restaurants but it also meets the current market demand for quick service dining concepts which offer an elevated quality of food.”
