The pasta restaurant is open for soft launch at Street Feasts’ Giant Robot ‘rooftopia’ from today (20 November), before officially launching on 26 November.
It is offering the same menu of homemade pasta as the original Soho restaurant, as well as new dishes such as deep fried n’duja and mozzarella, and its signature alcoholic slushies.
Parle, who is the chef restaurateur behind Dock Kitchen, Rotorino, Palatino, Craft London and a partner at Sardine, opened Pastaio in Soho’s busy Kingly Court in November 2017.
“I’ve been a member of the London Union advisory board for a few years and am really excited to be involved with one of their places now as an operator,” says Parle. “Nobody delivers the holy trinity of food, booze and music with the scale and quality of a Street Feast site.”
To coincide with the opening of the new site, Pastaio is to start offering a click and collect service from both its restaurants, allowing guests to pre-order and pay online before collecting dishes at their chosen time.
Pastaio will also begin partnering with Deliveroo in early December.
