MeatLiquor's original London restaurant will close next year
MeatLiquor’s original London restaurant will finally close its doors next February to make way for the construction of a luxury hotel.

The Marylebone site launched on the ground floor of a car park in 2011 on a two-year lease, but has stayed open nearly seven years.

Now it is being forced to close to make way for a development from Shiva Hotel Group, which bought the site in 2016.

MeatLiquor’s co-founder Scott Collins confirmed the closure on Instagram and says the group is looking to relocate the restaurant.

He wrote: “The MeatLiquor O.G will be closing at the end of Feb.

“It’s been quite a 7 year ride in a site we were only supposed to be in for 2 years. If you know a site nearby that could work for us, we could make £20k happen for you.”

MeatLiquor started out as the Meatwagon burger van and has since grown to ten London restaurants and one each in Leeds and Brighton.
