The 100-cover terrace bar will see guests cook meat, fish and seafood over grills at their table when it launches in May 2019.
It will occupy the outside space next to its sister Barrafina restaurant and, unlike the tapas bar, will accept reservations as well as walk-ins.
Parrillan is the Harts Groups' final opening at Coal Drops Yard, joining Barrafina, Mexican restaurant Casa Pastor and its outdoor terrace Plaza Pastor, and The Drop wine bar.
Barrafina executive chef Angel Zapata Martin says the restaurant is designed to be 'approachable'.
“I love the relaxed and participatory nature of table-top grill restaurants and am really looking forward to showcasing some of the beautiful produce we get in, in different ways to how we do at Barrafina," he says.
The Harts Group is also behind London restaurants Quo Vadis in Soho and El Pastor in Borough Market.
