Fried chicken street food vendor Other Side Fried is opening its first permanent kiosk this month in a prime London location.

The brand, which operates out of locations across the capital in Pop Brixton, Peckham Levels, Feast Bar & Kitchen and Kerb Camden will open up in the heart of London’s Leicester Square on 21 December.

The menu will comprise burgers, wraps and sides including its Honey Butter burger, made with fried chicken, smoked honey butter, bacon, pickles and lettuce; the Buffalo; and The OSF. It will also offer a vegetarian option named Celerica made from fried celeriac, cheese and chive sauce, fired egg, pickles and lettuce.

Sides will include fries with cajun rosemary salt; dirty fries made with bacon, parmesan and ranch sauce; and chicken strips with kiev mayo.

The kiosk will act as a take away venue only, offering a grab and go option for from lunch through to late night.

Other Side Fried launched from the back of a converted British ambulance by friends Tommy and Matt back in 2014 and became part of Pop Brixton's shipping container foodie market in late 2016.

In June this year it collaborated with Honest Burgers to create a fried chicken special for the growing burger group.
