Chef Mark Jarvis has stepped away from Neo-Bistro, the restaurant he launched with former Harwoods Arms head chef Alex Harper last year.

According to a statement, the management team will continue to run the Woodstock Street restaurant “until further notice”. Harper left the restaurant earlier this year.

Launched in May 2017, Neo-Bistro is inspired by modern Parisian restaurants and offers a menu of simple and ‘modestly’ priced dishes, with daily specials chalked up on the dining room’s blackboard.

Harper and Jarvis are both alumni of Raymond Blanc’s Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire and also cooked together at Aggi Sverrisson's Texture in London.

Jarvis will now concentrate on his inaugural restaurant Anglo in Farringdon and the more recently opened Stem in Mayfair, cooking at the former full-time and collaborating with head chef Sam Ashton-Booth at the latter.
