Chetiyawardana took to Instagram earlier this week to announce the three projects he has lined up for 2019.
A Super Lyan bar is to open in Amsterdam, while a Silver Lyan will launch in Washington DC.
Chetiyawardana wrote: “We [always] wanted to have diverse projects – something that felt authentic, and as a compliment to the other wonderful, passionate projects out there."
He also announced that Michael Thompson, formerly of Fera at Claridge's, is joining his Cub restaurant as head chef.
Chetiyawardana opened Cub in partnership with chef Douglas McMaster in 2017, and is also behind London’s Super Lyan bar.
He ran his first London project, White Lyan, from 2013-17 and it claimed to be the first cocktail bar in the world to use no perishables – including fruit and ice – as part of its commitment to sustainability.
