The lawyer turned restaurateur opened his second Italian restaurant in Hove, East Sussex in January last year, focusing on handmade pasta and main course-size dishes.
The launch followed the opening of its inaugural site in Brighton’s Vine Street in November 2016 that graduated from a street food and pop-up that traded from a vintage Fiat van, focusing on Italian cured meats, cheese and prosecco.
Toscano denied plans for an imminent third site although he admitted longer term he was looking to open further locations.
“It depends when opportunities arise. If the opportunity came up next week I would be interested.
“Ideally, I’d like to get the group to five which would be a massive achievement,” he said.
