The 2018 Great British Menu winner will be one of eight street food traders serving at the market, which relaunches for the summer on Friday, 3 May.
Cochran, who included a goat sharing board on his 12:51 menu, will serve jerk-spiced goat on coconut flatbreads with a choice of sauces.
Clapton-based Thai specialist KraPow will also appear on the market’s roster, serving its PowPow chicken wings (crispy fried wings in a sweet and spicy fish glaze). As will Lewisham local Wandercrust, serving wood-fired Neapolitan pizza such as its 2018 London Pizza Festival winner the American Psycho (salami, roquito peppers, chilli honey).
Frozen custard company Secret Nicky’s will feature too, serving its signature Big Apple dish, which contains frozen vanilla custard blitzed with hot chunks of spiced apple pie, salted caramel and almonds.
The market will house a number specialist bars including Gin Salon, Street Vin and Rum Shack.
Cochran was named the first ‘Champion of Champions’ on the Great British Menu last year, winning over judges with his mushroom-based banquet starter ‘Cep-tional’. A retrospective on all the winning dishes served on Great British Menu over the last five years can be found here.
