The egg-focused casual dining brand will open a restaurant on Portobello Road, having announced late last year that it intended to open in the capital in early 2019.
Its key menu items are its sandwiches, which include the likes of bacon, eggs and cheese in a brioche bun; The Slut, made from a coddled egg on top of a potato puree, poached in a glass jar, and served with baguette slices; The Fairfax, scrambled eggs with chives, cheese and caramelised onions and sriracha mayo in a brioche bun; and a cheeseburger that features an egg caramelised onions, bread and butter pickles, cheddar cheese, and dijonnaise in a brioche bun
Its short menu also includes a side salad and salted chocolate chip cookie and a drinks list of coffee, coke, orange juice and water.
Founded in California in 2011 by Alvin Cailan the brand initially launched as a food truck in Los Angeles. Its first permanent site opened inside Los Angeles’ Grand Central Market in 2013.
The company now operates five sites in the US, in Los Angeles, Glendale and Las Vegas, as well as a further restaurant in Beirut.
