Delivery only fast-food service Twisted London is to open five more units in the capital following the success of its trial location in East London.

The brand, which is available exclusively via UberEats and claims to be ‘the world’s first delivery only restaurant born from social media’ will soon open dark kitchens in Bayswater, Gloucester Road, Russell Square, Piccadilly and Edgware Road.

It opened its first location in Bethnal Green back in November 2017 serving a very tight menu, featuring the Chuck Boris (chuck and brisket beef patty with lettuce, tomato, gherkin, mustard, ketchup and cheddar cheese in a brioche bun); a panko-crumbed vegan ‘chicken’ burger with vegan buffalo sauce, slaw and vegan ranch sauce in a vegan bun; and fried pickles.

“We’re incredibly excited about the expansion of Twisted London,” says Jamie Bolding, the founder & CEO of Jungle Creations, which owns Twisted.

“Since the launch of our first branch in East London just over a year ago we’ve been inundated with messages from people around the world asking us when it will be coming to a town near them, so we’re thrilled to be launching in five new locations, bringing our much loved brand and its menu closer to more of its fans”.

Twisted was founded in March 2016 as a Facebook page that produced and shared recipe videos. It has since expanded across various social media platforms including Instagram and YouTube and now has over 20-million followers worldwide.
