Operating under Briatore’s Billionaire Lifestyle Group, which also owns Japanese restaurant Sumosan Twiga in Chelsea, Crazy Pizza is described as “emphasising the passion and spirit of Italy.”
The restaurant features an open kitchen, with a section dedicated to making mozzarella in house.
Thin crust, ‘yeast free’ bases are made from a secret recipe and cooked in a Morello oven.
Toppings include the brand’s signature Tartufo, which features Sicilian tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and shavings of fresh black truffle.
Other pizzas include Al Crudo with tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and Parma ham; and Marinara with garlic, oregano and basil.
Briatore, who resigned from his role as boss of Renault’s Formula One team in 2008 amid a race fixing scandal, operates further Crazy Pizza sites in Monte Carlo, Porto Cervo and Dubai.
The business tycoon’s Lifestyle Group also owns Maya Italian Brasserie in Knightsbridge, as well as the international Billionaire Mansion club concept and Crazy Fish brand.
In total it currently runs 17 restaurants across four countries.
