Omnino Steakhouse team launch Brazilian-style restaurant

Omnino Steakhouse founders Eduardo Barsotti and Ruth Cezar have launched a 'high-end' Brazilian barbecue concept in London's St Paul's.

The 73-cover churrascaria-style restaurant offers a £38.95 tasting menu, with starters including salmon tartare; empanadas filled with beef, escarole and mozzarella; and polenta cakes with shredded pork.

The main course sees a choice of meats carved at the table, ranging from Brazilian Toscana sausage to marinated chicken and Argentine fillet, rib-eye and picanha steaks. 

Traditional Brazilian desserts form the final part of the menu, including a guava cheesecake and Brigadeirão (a Brazilian chocolate mousse).

There are also three £27 meat-free menus suitable for pescatarians, vegetarians or vegans.

Barsotti and Cezar previously worked as chef and restaurant manager at Gaucho respectively, before opening the original Omnino Steakhouse in Leadenhall in 2014.
