Situated in the arches under London Bridge Station, the restaurant will have 90 covers across the ground floor and mezzanine with 24 further seats outside.
The Tooley Street restaurant’s menu will featue an exclusive burger topped with Crown & Queue Bermondsey nduja, taleggio cheese, parmesan mayo, tomato, rocket and pickles.
It will be the premium burger brand’s third opening this year, following the launch of regional sites in Brighton and Manchester.
Honest Burgers was launched in Brixton in 2011 by co-founders Philip Eeles and Tom Barton, and its continued expansion has seen the company go from strength to strength with sales rising £6.7m to £22.3m in the year to January 2018.
In February last year, the chain announced that it had secured an increased funding package worth £17m from its banking partner Santander to help fund its growth pipeline.
The brand also invested c£1m in 2017 towards setting up its own butchery, Honest Butchers, to help control its supply chain as it grows.
