Japanese noodle bar concept Koi Ramen is set to launch within the Elephant Park development in south London.

The brand is one of two F&B businesses to recently sign for a site within the £2.3bn mixed-use regeneration project, which is being run in partnership between Southwark Council and property company Lendlease.

Craft beer concept The Tap In is the other brand to be confirmed.

Koi Ramen, which currently operates sites in Brixton and Tooting, primarily serves a menu of ramen dishes including tonkotsu – a pork soup noodle from the southern regions of Japan.

It also features a range of gyoza available with pork, chicken or vegetables; and a selection of green tea and black sesame ice cream.

Earlier this year it was announced that the anchor tenant at Elephant Park would be MM Factory, a new concept from the team behind London food market Mercato Metropolitano that is due to launch this summer.

“We are also thrilled that Elephant Park will be home to a diverse range of food and beverage brands,” says Guy Thomas, head of retail at Lendlease.

“Alongside the recently announced MM Factory, The Tap In and Koi Ramen will position the destination as the perfect hotspot for culture, dining-out and socialising.”
