TRG opened its first Wagamama delivery kitchen in Hackney in July, and says it plans to open at least two further delivery sites by 2020.

Like for like sales at Wagamama rose 10.6% in the six months to 30 June 2019, while adjusted EBITDA grew to £51.4m.

TRG is planning to convert 15 of its existing sites in its Leisure restaurants arm, which includes Chiquito's and Frankie & Benny's, to the Wagamama brand by 2021.
