London-based Neapolitan pizza group Made of Dough is to launch a concept on Brick Lane in Shoreditch next month where every pizza on the menu will cost £5.

Roma Pizza is described as a ‘fast and thin-crust pizzeria’ that is inspired by the team’s trips to Italy’s capital, and will place its emphasis on accessibility and affordability.

As such, the eight 12-inch pizzas set to feature on the menu will be priced at £5 each.

Drinks will also be competitively priced with a glass of house wine priced at £3, a glass of draft beer £2.25, and cocktails at £5 each.

The Roma Pizza offer will be different to that of Made of Dough, with a focus on ‘thin, crispy Roman-style pizza’.

Toppings will include mozzarella sourced from Somerset; and pepperoni from Bedfordshire.

There will also be a dedicated vegan menu available.

Originally operating as a pop-up, Made of Dough was founded in 2014 by friends Ed Sandeman, Henry Amodio and Harry Gibson. In May 2015 the trio opened in Pop Brixton, and the same year was crowned London Pizza Festival champion.

Made of Dough launched its long-awaited first bricks and mortar site in Peckham in 2017, which it continues to operate alongside kiosk sites in Market Halls Fulham and Swingers West End.
