Gino D’Acampo lines up Birmingham restaurant

The Italian chef is to open a 165-cover location on Birmingham’s Temple Row on 31 October.
It will be followed by the launch of a rooftop ‘sky bar and restaurant’ in the city in 2020.
Propel reported earlier this month that D’Acampo’s My Restaurant sites in London's Camden and Euston Station had closed, with the business turning its attention to growth outside the capital.
The television chef launched his My Restaurant brand in 2015 in partnership with Individual Restaurants and Piccolino owner Steven Walker.
It now has sites in Harrogate, Hull, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester.
Announcing the Birmingham opening, the company says: “Gino & Individual Restaurants plan more restaurants in major UK cities and affluent towns and suburbs.”
D'Acampo still operates three London restaurants in the City under his My Pasta Bar brand.
