Shortlist revealed for Restaurant's R200 Awards

Arcade Food Theatre, Emilia’s Crafted Pasta, Circolo Popolare, Nando’s, Bleecker Burger, Giggling Squid, Rockfish and Loungers are among the restaurant groups and new openings that have been shortlisted in this year’s R200 Awards.

Organised by Restaurant magazine, the awards recognise excellence in the group restaurant operator space and awards stellar performances over the past 12 months in categories including Most Effective Restaurant Design, Best New Scalable Concept; Best Family Restaurant Operator; and Opening of the Year. In addition, there will be an award presented on the night to an unsung hero in the industry, recognising a person or person who typically don’t get the credit they deserve.

The awards will be announced at a special awards dinner and party hosted by comedian Iain Stirling held at London’s Hawker House on 4 December.

The R200 Awards are part of a series of annual events for senior management working in the UK’s biggest group operators that also includes a conference and UK city tour as well as a study tour of a leading European destination.
