Now in its 32nd year, the Toque d’Or was launched to bridge the gap between the theories of the classroom and the exciting reality of the industry.
The competition offers aspiring hospitality professionals the experience of their lives – testing them, pushing them and giving them the chance to learn from the very best in order to realise their true potential.
The 2020 competition will be the biggest and most inclusive ever, because, for the first time this year, front-of-house apprentices will be able to take part too, to reflect the equally important roles within the industry.
The Toque d’Or has supported the careers of more than 8,000 hospitality professionals over the years, with some of the industry’s most renowned chefs having competed in the competition.
