BrewDog is to open its first 'alcohol-free' bar in London next week to coincide with Dry January.

A spokesperson for the brewer says the site, named BrewDog AF, is 'not a pop-up, [but] a pilot concept bar'.

It will feature 15 taps of low or 0% abv craft beer, including a new Hazy AF IPA and 0.5% abv Wake Up Call coffee stout, alongside alcohol-free spirits and cider.

BrewDog looks to be converting the 211 Old Street outpost of Draft House, the bar group it purchased in 2018, to the new concept.

The brewer is also launching ‘Drink All You Can Jan’, an initiative offering unlimited free refills of any BrewDog alcohol-free beer in all its UK bars throughout January

This is not the first specialist BrewDog site, the group partnered with plant-based ‘junk food’ brand Biff’s Jack Shack to open a fully-vegan bar in Dalston last year.

BrewDog AF opens at 12 pm on 6 January.
