The 103 Colmore Row restaurant will be the group’s first Birmingham location, and is set to open on the building’s 24th floor in autumn 2021.
Guests will be able to access to the restaurant through a self-contained lift, with the ‘double-height’ space offering panoramic views across the city.
As part of the deal with 103 Colmore Row developer Sterling, D&D will also operate a cocktail bar and café on the building’s ground floor.
“We have been looking to open a restaurant in Birmingham for some time now, just waiting to find the right site,” says Des Gunewardena, chairman and CEO of D&D London.
“With its central location and unrivalled rooftop views, 103 Colmore Row provides us with a fabulous opportunity to join the city’s thriving restaurant scene.
“Following our Leeds and Manchester openings, and with a Bristol launch planned for later this year, our 103 Colmore Row venture reflects our continued commitment to expansion in the UK outside of London.”
D&D currently operates more than 40 restaurants worldwide, principally in London, but also with locations in Leeds, Manchester, Paris and New York.
