Camden Town Brewery is to open a ‘food and drink destination’ on the site of its original North London home in Kentish Town.

Due to launch in the summer, the renovated brewery site on Wilkins Street Mews will feature a 50-cover restaurant, larger taproom bar, shop and tour experience.

As a result of the refurbishment, the existing Brewery Bar has now closed, with a temporary pop-up bar set to open from 1 March, until the work is complete.

The relaunched site will feature Camden Town Brewery’s first full on-site kitchen.

Overseen by an as-yet unannounced chef partner, the restaurant will offer a ‘fresh seasonal menu’.

The extended taproom, meanwhile, will serve Camden’s full range of fresh unpasteurized, beers including Hells larger, Pale Ale and Show Off.

“I couldn’t be more excited about the continued transformation of our first home in Camden at Wilkin Street Mews,” says Camden Town Brewery founder Jasper Cuppaidge.

“As the home of Hells, we will continue to bring the freshest beer experience and now with the extensive changes, we’ll have the capacity and resource to be able to not only offer but also host one of the very best beer drinking experiences.

“It promises to be an oasis for beer drinkers, and the development will see the space become a community hub for beer, food, entertainment and education.”
