Latin American-focused bar and restaurant brand Cha Cha is to launch its third London site in Notting Hill at the end of the month.

Housed within a multi-story venue on Golborne Road, the opening will be a partnership between Cha Cha and London-based vintage-inspired clothing label Sister Jane.

Cha Cha will oversee a dedicated restaurant space on the ground floor, while upstairs Sister Jane will manage separate fashion studio and retail showroom areas.

Connected to the showroom will also be a rooftop bar, ran by the Cha Cha team.

Former Chiltern Firehouse chef Kai Rykowski is to oversee the menu, which will combine Mediterranean and Latin flavours.

Dishes set to feature include a sharing plate of tempura squid with wasabi mayonnaise and lime; oysters with green tomatillo and jalapeño mint gazpacho; and grilled baby gem salad with maple butter, queso fresco, and lemon brioche crumble.

There will also be a selection of grilled meat and fish dishes including a half lobster tail; duck breast; and octopus. And breakfast specials such as French toast with vanilla custard and rhubarb pistachio; and acai bowls topped with pumpkin, sunflower and chia seeds and coconut powder.

The building’s interior design has been taken on by Sella Concepts, and will have an autumnal palette of burnt oranges, creams, and walnut timber; and ‘bespoke’ 1970s-style furniture.

Cha Cha opened its first restaurant in London’s Maida Vale in 2018, and subsequently launched a sister site within Mercato Mayfair.
