We speak to SpiceBox co-founder Grace Reagan about her decision to keep operating her vegan Indian restaurant concept through the Coronavirus crisis.

Prior to the pandemic the Walthamstow venue was eat-in and takeout only but has now switched to delivery-only, with some orders fulfilled by the SpiceBox team themselves and others through delivery partners.

"We saw strong demand in our area. We have a product that people associated with delivery. Our primary aim is to keep the business ticking over, keep our staff employed and keep our community fed," she says.

Nearly all SpiceBox's staff live in Walthamstow so don't need to take public transport to work and precautions are being taken in the restaurant to further ensure staff and customer safety.
