New online guide to help hospitality businesses  post lockdown is published

A guide to help hospitality businesses rebuild customer confidence in a post lockdown environment has been created.

Called Rally Your Customers​, it aims to give hospitality businesses the guidance they need to get customers back through their doors, kick-starting the hospitality sector and, in turn, the out-of-home economy

Available in four instalments, the initiative is the result of a partnership between leading food distributor Bidfood and specialist food, beverage, foodservice and hospitality marketing agency OMNE.

It will address topics including the role of trust in rebuilding consumer confidence; how customers want to be reached; the importance of local sourcing and the changing role of digital.

It’s no secret that the hospitality market as we knew it will never be quite the same. The well-documented new ‘normal’ is already upon us and it will continue to change over the coming weeks and months,” says Chris Davies, managing director at OMNE.

“Operational challenges aside, there is an enormous job to be done to reassure consumers that it is safe to return to the hospitality sector.”

The first 14-page instalment of the guide is now available to view for free via both the Bidfood​ and OMNE​ website and explores the role of trust and the new hierarchy of importance to consumers.
