The Blues Kitchen lines up Manchester site

Just off Deansgate on Quay Street, the 600 capacity restaurant, bar and late night music spot is expected to open in earl 2021.
Founded by Steve Ball in 2009, the group currently operates three large venues in Camden, Shoreditch and Brixton.
Like the London restaurants, The Blues Kitchen Manchester will have a food, drink and entertainment offer themed around the Deep South, with live music from local and international musicians seven nights a week and DJs playing soul, funk, rock 'n' roll and roots music into the small hours at weekends.
“When we decided to spread our wings it had to be Manchester, it’s such a cool city. It’s the only other city we’d consider doing anything in,” says Ball, whose portfolio also includes well known live music venues Jazz Cafe and The Camden Assembly.
