Iberian style wine bar Bar BoBo will open this summer on Liverpool’s Castle Street.

The new venture will take on the former Veeno site in the city’s popular food and drink location and is due to open in late August.

BoBo will feature an all-day drink and snack menu with Spanish and Portuguese influence and will serve an all day grazing brunch offer at weekends.

It will also have a private space for wine tastings, locked door dinners or for guests to hire for their own celebrations or gatherings.

BoBo will be the second venue from Lucky Penny Consultants and will be located close by to its sister venue, Abditory bar.

“We love the food and drinks of Spain and Portugal but didn’t want to just do another tapas joint, we want BoBo to feel a bit more modern and contemporary,” says Josh Moore, Co-Director of Lucky Penny Consultants.

“BoBo is going to be like you are back in that great cafe just round the corner from that hotel you stayed in on your last city break, we want to create a neighbourhood stop for all walks of life’” adds Steven Burgess, co-director of Lucky Penny Consultants.

“Castle Street is such a great location and when the old Veeno site came up, we just knew it would be perfect for BoBo.”
