Hospitality charity Only A Pavement Away has launched a 'jobs board' to support those in the industry who have lost their job and are seeking new employment.

The system, developed with help from Hospitality Jobs UK founder Dawn Redman and Cue Media founder Nigel Brewer, features a Candidate Profile Page (CPP) for use by charities and organisations that are partnered with Only A Pavement Away.

Described as 'the first charity jobs board of its kind geared specifically towards the hospitality sector', the CPP will serve as a conduit to promote candidates for employment within the hospitality industry.

It adds that the CPP will complement the already existent employer vacancy section, and will be supported by an in-depth back office system that has been developed by Polaris systems.

In order to access the CPP and view prospective candidates, employers will first need to register as either an Only A Pavement Away employment partner or charity, which current includes the likes of chef Judy Joo, catering firm Thomas Franks, and The Ivy Collection.

“The new Jobs Board will be integral to Only A Pavement Away's future growth strategy whilst playing a major role in helping the ever-increasing numbers of vulnerable people across the UK find careers in hospitality," says founder Greg Mangham.

“Whilst the industry continues to face uncertainty in the months ahead, we are now starting to receive vacancies from our employer partners as lockdown restrictions are lifted.

"As ever, I am extremely grateful for all the support and generous donations that we have continued to receive in recent months towards our various initiatives and I would like to thank Dawn and Nigel for all their expertise and guidance into making the new Candidate Profile Page possible."
