Launching on 27 July, Bubbleshop By Sandia Chang will stock a similar list of wines to Chang’s Fitzrovia hot dog and Champagne restaurant with a line-up of producers that includes George Laval, Tarlant, Olivier Horiot, and Marie Courtin.
The website will also offer four home hotdog kits - The Mac Daddy, The Reuben, The Mexican, and The Chilli Cheese.
Each kit serves two and is priced at £20, with the added touch of the restaurant’s serving trays and Bubbledogs greaseproof paper, so that they can be plated up restaurant-style.
Customers will be able to add a bottle of Chang’s recommended Champagne pairing to their home-kit purchase.
Chang, whose CV includes Copenhagen’s Noma and New York’s Per Se, says she has always aspired to make Champagne more accessible than it has traditionally been.
This mission is reflected in the Bubbleshop, where customers will be able to browse via categories such as The White Party (blanc de blancs) Unicorns (particularly rare choices), and Rising Stars (featuring the newer generation of Champagne producers).
Bubbleshop will offer nationwide delivery once a week. All orders placed before midnight on Wednesday will be delivered on the following Friday. Alternatively, orders can be collected Wednesday to Saturday from Bubbledogs at 70 Charlotte Street.
Chang launched Bubbledogs and the adjoining - and now two-Michelin-starred - Kitchen Table in 2012 with her chef husband James Knappett.
