Top Cuvée founders Brodie Meah and Max Venning are to expand their online retail offshoot into a permanent site located just around the corner from restaurant mothership in London's Highbury.

Fittingly named Shop Cuvée, the concept was initially established as a way to provide an income for the restaurant after it was forced to close its doors back in March as a result of the Coronavirus lockdown.

Off the back of their initial success delivering in the capital, Meah and Venning eventually expanded the retail concept nationwide, offering next-day delivery alongside a monthly subscription program.

To 'keep up with demand' and make more room in the now-reopened restaurant, the boys have chosen to expand Shop Cuvée into its own bricks and mortar space.

‘‘If you told me in March that not only would Top Cuvée come back better than ever, that we would have provided thousands of natural wines to London, launched a nationwide delivery service AND that we will open a permanent shop on our beloved Blackstock Road, I’d have thought you were having me on," says Meah.

"We cannot begin to thank our customers enough - the shop is for them - come in, say hello – we couldn’t have done it without you.

"As well as our locals, the shop will ensure we keep on reaching our customers around the rest of the UK – the support and demand has been just incredible."
