Billy & The Chicks relaunches as delivery-only brand

Initially only available on Deliveroo with a delivery radius that covers the Southbank and Canary Wharf area, the 'streamlined' menu will feature British free range and ethically-sourced chicken from the family-run Walter Rose and Son butcher.
Burger options include the 'Classic Chicken Burger' served with lettuce and topped with Miracle Whip; and the spicier 'Stinger Burger'. Both are served in seeded demi-brioche buns made locally by Bread Ahead.
Other menu options include spicy hot wings; chicken pieces; and boneless breast strippers. Sides include barbecue beans; fries; and coleslaw.
Offering 50% off its entire menu throughout November, Billy & The Chicks says it intends to also be available for delivery via UberEats and Just Eat in the coming weeks.
The concept was created by ex-St John and Salt Yard chef Billy Stock, who co-founded the brand with Sam Bellamy back in 2015.
Stock and Bellamy opened their first Billy & the Chicks restaurant in London's Soho, claiming at the time to serve ‘the best chicken burger in the capital’.
The restaurant subsequently closed in 2018 and was originally understood to be moving to another location. However, a new site never materialised.
