Expanding Korean-Japanese takeaway food concept Kokoro is to open two more sites under its franchise model.

The restaurant group, which was founded in Kingston-upon-Thames in 2010 by Rak-Kyu Park, will open a site in Oxford next month, marking the company’s fifth launch of 2020.

It is also understood to be opening what will be its 32nd site in Chichester, West Sussex, having put in planning for a site on the city’s North Street.

Kokoro has venues across the country, in locations including Leeds, Liverpool, Glasgow, Leicester, Croydon, Milton Keynes, Crawley, Horsham and Brighton. Its most recent openings have been in Bournemouth and Canterbury.

Hot dishes on its menu include chicken katsu curry, sweet and sour chicken, spicy tofu and salmon terikayi with the sites also serving a range of sushi and sashimi and poke bowls.
