Qavali to bring Indo-Persian fine dining to Birmingham

Qavali, named after a style of Sufi devotional singing and originating from the Arabic word qual meaning ‘to speak’, will serve dishes inspired by Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Indian cuisine.

The 8,479sq ft restaurant will be located in the former Coast to Coast venue and will have space for 250 covers.

It will join restaurants including Piccolino, Pulperia, PizzaExpress, Siamais, Cielo, las Iguanas and Oko in the scheme when it opens later this year.

“Qavali will offer a dining experience like no other and to bring this vision to life at Brindleyplace is hugely exciting for us,” says Deni Sharankova, marketing director at brand owner FB Holdings.

“Birmingham has an extremely varied culinary scene, and we feel Qavali will be able to bring something different and new to foodies throughout the city.”
