Solita Food Hall will be split between two floors and also have a large outdoor terrace and be located on the city’s Parliament Street. The location was once home to a Jamie’s Italian restaurant and was more recently the site of Wagyu Bar & Grill.
The rooftop terrace is due to open on 12 April when al fresco dining and drinking is once again allowed serving a menu that will include burgers and rotisserie chicken. The venue will open fully on 17 May 17, in accordance with Government guidelines.
Shoot the Bull operates four New York style bar and grill Solita restaurants, in Beverley, Hull, Manchester and York, with the brand known for its award-winning wagyu burgers as well as ribs, wings and hotdogs.
The company also has a street food offer at Hull Truck Theatre serving dishes such as fried chicken and chips and runs The Old House gastropub in Hull.
The move will see the restaurant group back on the expansion trail having closed its El Taquero taqeria in Manchester at the start of last year. The restaurant opened in 2017 behind the Northern Quarter Solita restaurant.
