Theo Randall is to oversee the food at Camden Town Brewery’s upcoming Camden Beer Hall.

Randall - who runs an eponymous restaurant at the InterContinental London hotel in Mayfair and a number of overseas hotel restaurants - will create a menu designed to pair with Camden’s beers that combines his ‘love for Italian cooking and seasonal ingredients with dishes you’d find in a Bavarian inspired beer hall’.

Small dishes and sharing platters will be offered alongside beer served directly from the brewery’s tanks. There will be 24 taps offering Camden’s full core range - including Hells and Pale - as well as the Arch 55 creations, Camden’s small batch innovation series, produced in the brewhouse next to the bar.

The bar will be one of the only venues in the London to use a manual glass washing station at the front of its bar and will serve all its pints in chilled glassware.

Billed as an ‘impressive refurbishment of the original bar’ at the North London brewery site, Camden Beer Hall has double the seating capacity of the original and generous outdoor space, creating the ‘ultimate immersive experience that’s set to become an iconic beer drinking destination in London’.

“It made sense to have our great friend and great chef Theo Randall create the menu and look after the kitchen for us, championing fresh ingredients in a way is the perfect accompaniment to our beer,” says Camden Town Brewery founder Jasper Cuppaidge.

“It will be the best beer experience in the city and we can’t wait for beer lovers to see what we’ve been up to when we fling open the doors.”
