Located on Marylebone Lane, it will be the fifth deli in the group, joining those in Spitalfields, Belgravia, Islington and Notting Hill and will be its most central deli location to date.
The space will continue the art gallery aesthetic of the other delis with a no-reservations communal dining area as well as a couple of tables and chairs out the front.
It will serve a concise breakfast menu featuring shakshuka with braised eggs, labneh and grilled focaccia; housemade granola with Greek yoghurt and fruit; and pastries with lunchtime options to include daily changing salads such as roasted aubergine with lemon and lime yoghurt, amba, harissa oil and masala peanuts; gem lettuce with pea and chardonnay vinaigrette, pea shoots, feta and almonds; and Mejadra rice with lentils and crispy onions.
Mains such as chargrilled Loch Duart salmon with sweet chilli sauce; and roasted cauliflower, vadouvan feta cakes with spinach, basil and rocket pesto will be permanent fixtures on the menu.
It will also have a fridge dedicated to the Ottolenghi Ready range and pantry essentials like rosemary spiced nuts; preserved lemon and chilli olives; lavosh and cranberry and oat cookies.
