Indian restaurant Madhu’s2Go has opened on the fifth floor of Knightsbridge-based department store Harvey Nichols.

The restaurant, created in partnership with Indian caterer and restaurant company Madhu’s, has a counter wrapped around an open kitchen that can seat 10 diners, with additional seating for a further 18 covers.

Many of the dishes are cooked on a robata grill as well as a Tandoor oven. Menu items include a selection of wraps – chilli chicken, minced lamb, and vegan – with robata dishes including butterfly king prawns; spiced samon; and chilli and lemon asparagus.

It also serves a range of vegan, vegetarian and meat-based thalis.

The restaurant also provides a food delivery and collection service

“Our vision and aim is to create a unique food offering and experience, with the world class Madhu’s know-how and expertise,” says director Tony Lit.

“We hope to become the place to be for guests shopping in Harvey Nichols, working or living in the vicinity of Knightsbridge, or those looking for the best of Indian cuisine delivered home.”

Madhu’s2Go is operated by Gourmet Associates Limited (GAL) trading, which has ambitions to become a nationwide franchisor in the next five years, starting with company-owned sites in the London region, of which Harvey Nichols is the first. It plans to eventually roll out of the franchise model across Greater London and the Midlands before expanding across the UK.
