As the roadmap out of lockdown becomes reality and the industry opens its doors once again this month restaurant groups are looking at what the future may hold and how they will navigate this post pandemic era.

Join BigHospitality on Wednesday 26 May when, for our R200 May online special webinar  sponsored by headline partner Just Eat and associate partners Shelley Sandzer, Shield Safety Group and Zonal. In this webinar we bring you leaders from across the sector who will share their experiences, ideas and plans for the post lockdown world as well as discuss the challenges that still lie ahead.

Speakers at the webinar include Tim Gould, managing director at Hawksmoor, who will discuss the steakhouse group’s decision to ramp up its meal box delivery and food delivery business as the UK comes out of lockdown; Steve Hill, Bone Daddies operations director, talking about the rise of the company’s delivery-only Wing Daddies brand; and Frank Hayes, the newly appointed CEO of Honest Burgers, on what the new position means for the better burger business and its focus for the next 18 months.

Also speaking will be Roland Horne, CEO and founder of WatchHouse, on why he has decided now is the time to go on the expansion trail and how he hopes to ring the changes with his approach; and Rob Easton, head of consultancy at Shield Safety Group, who explores why staying COVID-safe is not the only safety concern businesses should focus on as they set about reopening their operation and the lessons learned from the sectors who continued trading during lockdown.

There will also be a panel giving a post-lockdown perspective to the property market with Ted Schama, joint managing partner at Shelley Sandzer; Julia Wilkinson, restaurant director at Shaftesbury, discussing what the future hold for hospitality in terms of the property market, how the pandemic has changed how landlords view hospitality, and what changes might occur in the landlord/restaurant relationship as a result of the pandemic.

The webinar commences at 10am on Wednesday 26 May and is free to watch. Click here to join the webinar
