Simon Rogan doubles down on ‘at home’ business

Simon Rogan has rebranded his ‘at home’ business under plans to retain it in the long term.

Formerly Simon Rogan Home, the brand has new relaunched as Home by Simon Rogan and announced an exclusive collaboration with Lake District accommodation providers Lakelovers, Heart of the Lakes and Lakes Cottage Holidays.

Following its launch within the holiday cottages this month, the revamped 'delivery dining experience' will be made available for the wider public to order later in the summer.

When the service was initially launched as Simon Rogan at Home in 2020, it delivered to areas in and around Cartmel.

Due to popular demand the team gradually began to deliver further afield and by the end of 2020 they were delivering to customers’ homes right across the UK.

As part of the rebrand, Rogan has worked to boost the green credentials of the business.

The delivery box has been designed for alternative uses post-delivery, such as a seed growing tray, cool box or for enhancing compost or garden mulch.

“We are really proud of how our at home offering has evolved, how it has become a permanent fixture as part of the business and that we now have the opportunity to work alongside a holiday company as reputable as this one," says Sam Ward, managing director of Simon Rogan’s restaurants.

"Our collaboration with Lakelovers, Heart of the Lakes and Lakes Cottage Holidays is the next logical step in providing those staycationing in the Lakes with an opportunity to enjoy the best ‘at home’ dining experience in the UK.

"Our unique collection of seasonal three-course menus are perfect for those wishing to treat themselves to a memorable experience with minimal effort during their getaway to the area.’’

Rogan is one of a number of high-profile chefs to extend their meal kit delivery business for the long term.

Others include Opheem chef patron Aktar Islam, who is creating a new facility for his successful Aktar at Home meal kit delivery service; and Elite Bistros' Gary Usher.
