The Twenty Two will be located within a Grade II listed Edwardian manor at number 22 Grosvenor Square in Mayfair and will have 31 bedrooms and a Mews House.
It will also be home to an all-day restaurant that will be headed up by executive chef Alan Christie serving modern-British dishes with influence from southern Europe, as well as four bar areas located across the venue.
In addition, The Twenty Two will have a private members’ club that will also be open to hotel guests, with an all-day lounge space with a bar and open outdoor terrace that overlooks Grosvenor Square, an evening dining room with a covered outdoor terrace, as well as a cocktail bar.
The property will be overseen by managing director Darius Namdar, formerly of Corbin & King, Chiltern Firehouse and Mark’s Club.
“Our vision is to instil a more playful side to Mayfair. We want everyone who passes through The Twenty Two to experience exceptional service, be greeted with a smile and, most importantly, feel welcome and accepted, whist enjoying the best hospitality London has to offer,” says Namdar.
