Gordon Ramsay to open Bread Street Kitchen in Edinburgh
The group’s new Edinburgh restaurant will be located on the city’s St Andrew Square in the former Drake & Morgan venue.
The 7,000sq ft restaurant will occupy the ground and first floors and will join existing restaurants on the square including Gaucho, Wagamama, Dishoom and The Ivy. It will be the third Bread Street Kitchen in the group, joining the original St Paul’s restaurant and a second in Southwark.
The move marks the continued expansion of the Bread Street brand for the company, which recently opened the first restaurant under the new Bread Street Café brand in Ealing.
“We have taken our time to look for the perfect location for our first Bread Street Kitchen & Bar outside of London and we are delighted with the site we have chosen in Edinburgh,” says Andy Wenlock, CEO Gordon Ramsay Restaurants.
“Such a vibrant city with a cool food scene, it really feels like the perfect match for Bread Street Kitchen & Bar. All the team are looking forward to bringing this popular all-day dining concept to our new neighbourhood guests later this year.”
