Itsu has appointed digital transformation expert Neil Miller as its new Chief Customer Officer (CCO).

The newly created role will see Miller lead the development and strategy of Itsu’s customer proposition, marketing and overall management of the brand.

Prior to joining the Itsu team, Miller spent 25 years as a digital entrepreneur, ‘garnering a strong and proven track record of business leadership, digital transformation and eCommerce development’.

He has worked on digital transformation projects for global brands including McDonald's, Samsung and Adidas.

"The brand is a staple on the UK high street and I am delighted to join the team," he says. "This is a hugely exciting opportunity to lead the customer proposition of one of the UK’s most popular brands, bringing together marketing, digital transformation and brand management."

The introduction of the CCO role comes as Itsu continues to expands its restaurant footprint beyond the M25, following a recent tie-up with private equity group Bridgepoint.

The healthy Asian restaurant brand recently launched new sites in Reading and St Albans, whilst work has since started on openings in Bath, Edinburgh, and Bromley.

“Neil brings a wealth of experience to this new role; his track record of digital execution and customer-centricity will be a valuable addition to our senior team, as we navigate itsu into the digital age,” says CEO of Itsu UK Ganan Kanagathurai.
