Just Eat has launched an employee benefit service for businesses across the UK through its corporate arm, Just Eat for Business.

Just Eat Pay serves as an online canteen that allows small, medium and large businesses to provide employees with a daily or monthly allowance to order a meal from a wide variety of food options via Just Eat’s 58,000+ restaurant partners.

The launch comes at a time when many offices are making their return after 18 months of Covid-19 restrictions. Designed for a hybrid workforce, Just Eat Pay offers the same service for those working at home and at the office, with contact-free delivery or collection options available.

The service launched in 2019 and is already in operation in a number of Just Eat Takeaway.com markets, including the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Romania, Poland, Denmark, France and Norway, where it’s called Takeaway Pay.

There are no fixed costs for Just Eat Pay and companies can manage their account through a clear online dashboard.

“As we all continue to adapt to the changing landscape, at Just Eat, we’re committed to contributing to employee wellbeing both at home and in the office,” says Just Eat UK managing director Andrew Kenny.

Just Eat Takeaway.com also recently launched the Takeaway Pay Card that enables corporate clients to pay for their Takeaway Pay meal at hundreds of thousands of selected food and beverage merchants using the new debit card, powered by Mastercard.

The service is so far only available in the Netherlands, Germany and Poland, but the company has plans to roll out to more markets over the coming months.
